Happy New Year to you all! Kicking off the year with one of my resolutions, and that is blogging. On AyoSays, I won’t really be specialising in anything it’ll be a little of everything and anything, from my perspective.
Since its the 1st of January 2010, I’m guessing you all did something special last night… my hubby and I also had something planned. A while back we won a night’s stay at the new Holiday Inn Dead Sea Resort, so thought it’d be nice to redeem it on New Year’s Eve. Let me walk you through our stay.
After checking-in to our room at 4:00pm, its only natural that you “check” the room. Physically it looked comforting, but looking into the details, where I’m best at, wasn’t as good as the outside seemed. We noticed the bed sheets weren’t as white as we would’ve liked, I mean no one likes stains and threads of hair on their mattress. Never-the-less phoned the operator and the sheets were changed. After watching some TV, thought we’d have dinner. We decided to have room service since all the restaurants in the hotel were over booked. I won’t ramble on forever, but our order came in wrong, correcting it took a while too.
Well those are only to mention a few. Finally after a looooot of mishaps, we ended our night at the Holiday Inn dead Sea Resort at 9:50pm, and quite honestly I’m surprised we lasted that long. We then drove back to Amman to my in-laws and celebrated the new year there, where we found royalty treatment at its best.
How did you spend your New Year’s Eve night?

Welcome to the blogging world, and Happy New Year!
We spent the evening with friends at a party in our local church – lots of games, and great fun playing “Just Dance” on the Wii (I’m not a dancer, so my attempt was met with plenty of laughter). At midnight we all shared congratulations and best wishes with each other.
I know what you mean about finding royalty treatment among family. I couldn’t be with all my family last night, but spending the time with friends was just fantastic.
A wonderful 2010 to you and your loved ones
It must have been so poorly serviced for you to actually drive back home.
I celebrated with my cousins… We ate too much, drank too much, and welcomed the year with plenty of smiles.
Mabrouk the little place, I seriously need to go back to blogging but for now I’ll be a good reader/listener lol.
Mabrook, the blog is awesome, way to go to start your new year, also glad that your night ends so great. Nothing better than spending the New Year’s Eve with the family.
