People in my life…

Theres no one definition that best describes just what a friend is. I guess it depends on the type of friend you’re talking about. My favourite people in the world and best best friends are my mother and 2 sisters. There are no other people whom I can simply be myself around and who I know won’t judge me, and simply love me for me.

I can’t quite explain what happens after a girl gets married, that bond that just tightens with love between she and her mother. I always thought my mother and I were close but I was proved wrong after I got married. As for my sisters and I, well, we’re simply the biggest supporters of each other, and there’s a part of each one of us in each one of us, if thats how you say it. God bless them.

Then theres friendship that grows into family, and those are my 7 girlfriends. Ever since I came back to Amman, Jordan I met each one of them gradually along the years, and we’ve been friends ever since. There’s no specific one whom I favour, personally, each one is unique in her nature. We’ve shared in each other’s sadness and happiness, and I’m sure we’ll share much more in the years to come.

But what everyone needs in a friend is, one who; loves your flaws, bares your temper, weighs out your mood, holds you up, keeps you strong, treats you with respect, and by simply looking into your eyes feel safe and warm. That person my friends, I have found in my husband.
